Jason Hoeksema

Jason Hoeksema is a Professor of Biology at the University of Mississippi (UM) in the United States. Dr. Hoeksema received his Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of California, Davis in 2002. He held positions as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2002-2006, and as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Evolutionary Synthesis Center at Duke University from 2006-2007, before joining UM in 2007. Dr. Hoeksema’s research focuses on the ecological, evolutionary, and ecosystem consequences of interactions among species, especially involving plants, mycorrhizal fungi, and migratory birds.
